"Hannah Montana" star Miley Cyrus has made an appearance at Disney World, but plans to stay far away from the red carpet. The 15-year-old triple threat did take time out to sign autographs and pose for pictures with Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
The teen mogulette has been the center of a media circus surrounding risqué pictures in Vanity Fair magazine, while Cyrus had planned to attend Disney's red carpet event on Friday, her plans changed, Walt Disney World spokesman Gary Buchanan tells the Associated Press.
Miley is in Orlando with fellow Disney Channel stars to film the "Disney Channel Games," a charity competition. Buchanan did not go into detail about why Cyrus is no longer scheduled to appear at the media party.

Hollywood golden girl Cameron Diaz made her first red carpet appearance since her father's death last month. Diaz showed for the Los Angeles premiere of her new comedy, "What Happens in Vegas." Cam wore a coral dress, smiled and waved to fans with co-star Ashton Kutcher.
"I think she's holding up as well as anyone can imagine," says "Vegas" producer Shawn Levy to People magazine, "We're trying to give her space and be respectful."
Cameron was absent from other press events for the movie as she mourned the sudden death of her dad, Seal Beach resident Emilio Diaz. She seemed in good spirits at the "Vegas" event last night, even egging-on fans seated in the bleachers outside of the theatre to participate in a screaming match for a chance to attend the premiere.
