Madonna's bid to officially adopt little David Banda just got a little easier.

David's biological father has spoken out in FAVOR of Madge's adoption.

He told news agency Reuters in a TV interview, "I have no problem with the government's recommendation to allow Madonna to get the child. This is what I wanted, that Madonna should keep the child."

He states that he would love to see little David while Madge is in the country this week to finalize the adoption. But, if not then, every few years so he could see the boy's development.

ALSO, one of Malawi's fiercest critics of Madonna's adoption bid, the Human Rights Consultative Committee (HRCC), said on Monday it was no longer interested in pursuing the case.

"It will be as a waste of time and resources to continue pursuing the case. Malawi has more pressing issues than Madonna," HRCC chairman Udule Mwakasungura told Reuters.

Madonna is scheduled to appear in a Malawian court on Thursday for what is expected to be a final and favorable ruling on whether she can adopt little David.

It’s official! NBC announced today that since Conan O’Brien will be the new Jay Leno, Jimmy Fallon will be the new Conan O’ Brien.

Fallon said,

It’s a comedian’s dream to get this job, to work with writers and try to be funny every night.

Expect to see Jimmy gracing your late night screens in the first six months of 2009.

NBC has teamed up with American Idol host Ryan Seacrest for a new reality skein.

The show is currently titled Mommas's Boy, very apropos for a Seacrest prodcution.

The program will consist of eligible bachelors who will have their moms help pick them the right woman.

Haven't we already seen this before???

Seacrest would be the show's executive producer along with the producer's of NBC's former reality show Average Joe.

According to NBC, "Producers are looking for moms and their sons who are willing to work together as a team to find the perfect mate. These mothers should have strong opinions about whom their sons should date and be willing to separate the good from the bad."

Does this mean Ryan will be executive producer and also a contestant????

He told People backstage at KIIS-FM’s annual Wango Tango concert on Saturday,

I’ve heard some of it, I like what I’ve heard so far. Lindsay is taking it very seriously. She’s told me that she’s going to come in and debut the entire record with me on my KIIS-FM [radio show]. We’re going to play some of the songs, and go through the whole thing together.

VH1 is turning to Scott Baio to help produce programs for their "Celebreality" lineup.

The newest show is like The Surreal Life with former teen idols.

It will consist of a total of 8 male teenie boppers from the '80s and '90s.

You know what happens to teenie boppers?

They get fat, old and ugly!

Throughout the still-untitled show contestants will receive mentoring from a life coach. They will also have time to reflect on their former careers and outcomes. Basically, the highs and lows of being a teen icon.

At the end, each will have to decide whether they'll attempt to resurrect their careers and try for a comeback, or if they'll give up on Hollywood for good.

And who would actually want to add their names to this show?

The show is set to air early next year.

Fun.

Zach Braff just posted a MySpace bulletin that confirms "one of the worst-kept secrets in town" — that Scrubs is indeed moving from NBC to ABC.

It is a rare rare move for a series to move from one network to another!

Many of you have been understandably confused by the Fairy Tale episode of Scrubs serving as the series finale. It was not. I was not allowed to say it until today, but Scrubs will be moving to ABC for its final season. We are currently filming the 8th and final season. The true finale of the show will air on ABC in the fall. NBC merely promoted the Fairy Tale episode as the finale, as it was the last episode they owned.

Also, several of you were very confused by the fact that Dr. Kelso and Laverne were still working at the hospital in the Fairy Tale episode. Because of the writer's strike, the last remaining episodes for NBC were aired out of order. This is why Dr. Kelso was still chief of medicine. That was not Laverne however, for those of you who have been following closely; it was a new nurse "Shirley" who no one thinks looks anything like Laverne except for JD.

Hope this clears some things up.
