THIS is just insane!!!!!!!

A 4-year-old boy in Watertown, N.Y., is one of only 600 confirmed cases worldwide of a debilitating genetic skeletal condition.
Sufferers of fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva, or FOP for short, slowly develop a "second skeleton" with bone material forming across joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments and other connective tissue. The body is eventually frozen in calcium.
By the time Shane Terry is about 30, he will be restricted to a wheelchair. There is no cure for the condition.
So sad!!!!!!
At only 4, Shane doesn't understand that his rumbunctious behavior could harm him. A fall could provoke bone growth at the injury site. Because of this, Shane's mother, Kimberly, initially attempted to shelter the boy, but through the support of an online FOP group she learned that she needs to let Shane be as much of a "normal" child while he still can.
Shane's twin was stillborn 20 weeks into pregnancy and Shane already shows signs of the condition with a deformed vertebrae, pinky fingers, and big toes.
The average life expectancy for a person with FOP is 40 years.
Even sadder!
For now, all Shane has to think about is being a kid.
You know what they say, y'all, carpe diem!

It's been ages since we've seen Rupert Everett in anything.
Well, he's finally gotten a job besides accompanying Donatella Versace to events!
The Brit has been cast alongside the delicious Christine Ebersole in the spring Broadway revival of Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit,.
In the comedy, Everett will play Charles Condomine, an author who hires an eccentric medium (to be played by Ebersole) to perform a seance at his home during a party. He's in search of material for an expose he's planning on psychics.
Everett is best known to us here in the U.S. of A. as Julia Roberts' best gay friend in My Best Friend's Wedding.
Congrats on the gig, Rupert!

The rebellious Prince of Motown - Marvin Gaye - is receiving a double film treatment for the near future.
Italian Job director F. Gary Gray is slated to direct - with producers David Foster and Duncan McGillivray attached. Blood Diamond's writer, C. Gaby Mitchell, is signed on to pen the script.
Unlike the film Sexual Healing, which will focus on Gaye's decline post-Motown, Gray's Marvin will cover the entire span of the musician's life, from his rise to Prince of Soul, his defiance of the restrictive hit-making Motown system, his fall and comeback, and finally his tragic 1984 death at the hands of his father.
The production was hung up on acquiring the rights to Gaye's catalog, but with that issue finally cleared up, producers are shopping the film around for some financing.
The actors will lip-sync Marvin's songs, because really now, who could do it better?
Should be interesting to see how Marvin and Sexual Healing will stack up against each other!
