Newpaper publishers Gannett is offering to sell certain assets of the Tucson Citizen.

If a sale is not completed by March 21st, Gannett said it will have to close the newspaper.

Gossip columnist Zoe Griffin learned that the hard way back in August, when Kelly demonstrated that the apples don't fall far from the tree and slapped the writer.

Griffin's offense?

She called Kelly's fiance "stupid" after Luke Worrell revealed that he doesn't know what an earthquake is.

We don't know why it took Griffin so long to file charges, but Kelly turned herself in earlier this month for "common assault" and was released on bail until a March court date.

Christina Aguilera pulled out all the stops for her son Max’s first birthday on Saturday, having a party based on the book Where the While Things Are. Among the 40 guests at Christina and husband Jordan Bratman’s Beverly Hills backyard fete were Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, whose daughter Harlow celebrated her big first birthday just the day before. Costumed characters from the book entertained the tots while treats like mini PB&J sandwiches were enjoyed by the guests. Happy Birthday, Max!

Get On Your Boots sounds like a bad song from the '60s. It sounds more like a B side than a big "comeback" single.

It is NOT what U2 does best, big anthemic power pop/rock.

Patrick Swayze is resting at home after spending a week in the hospital. The 56-year-old, who is currently battling pancreatic cancer, checked himself into a hospital on January 9 for observation after he came down with pneumonia.

In what appears to be the most dubious career move ever, Joaquin Phoenix, who recently announced his retirement from acting to pursue his music career, made his debut as a rapper at Lavo in Las Vegas on Friday. Heavily bearded (and just plain heavier), a sloppily dressed Joaquin took to the stage and showed off his less-than-impressive MC skills. After his performance, Joaquin fell as he tried to exit the stage. Ouch! Maybe Joaquin should have gotten K-Fed’s advice before trying to make it as a rapper?

The title pretty much says it all!
