Like almost every teen girl in the world, Courtney Love's daughter, 16-year old Frances Bean, is smitten with Twilight hottie Robert Pattinson.

Well, Anglophile Court is determined to make Rob her daughter's first date!

An insider revealed to the Daily Mail, "Courtney thinks he’s charming and handsome and absolutely has to be Frances’s first date. She’s doing everything she can to engineer another meeting."

Sounds like Courtney is literally living in la la land.

In a recent interview, Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas confirmed that he's penning a movie based on the cult-fave show!

However, TV show star, Kristen Bell, hasn't signed on for the project just yet. Thomas confirms he's "in talks" with the actress.

As far as the plot line goes, this is all he was willing to reveal:

"The one thing that I will say is where it will pick up. I know we did that F.B.I. ‘what if’ thing, but we would not go to that place. I think it would open just days before the Hearst College Graduation. So Veronica would be sort of at the end of her college career."

England is the current home of juicy, celebrity, big-money divorce battles!

There was Macca vs. Mucca, then Madge vs. Guy.

And, now, singer Lily Allen finds herself in the middle of what many are calling the art world's biggest divorce!

According to new reports, 23-year old Lily's New Year's fling with that rich, 45-year old, art mogul, Jay Jopling, will cost the old dog pretty dearly.

Jopling's separation with his soon-to-be ex-wife, superstar Brit artist Sam Taylor-Wood, was going down an amicable path until pix of he and Lily cavorting in the Caribbean hit the tabloids.

Apparently, pre-Lily, Jopling and Taylor-Wood let everyone know that their split was going to be so friendly that they'd continue living under the same $14 million roof in London until the details were sorted out.

Friends say the Lily affair 'devastated' Sam and she moved out of the multi-million dollar home last week.

Insiders say it's a sign that the split is going to be one of the costliest the art world has seen.

A source close to the former couple blabbed:

"Sam has said that the situation at the moment is very, very hard. She and Jay want to do everything they can to protect their girls, but the truth is that the situation is getting very sticky and unpleasant. Sam could not believe it when Jay started dating Lily Allen. She thought it was below the belt as they had agreed neither of them would start dating until the dust had settled. Sam was livid because it really upset Angelica (their 11-year old daughter). She is at an age where she reads the papers and it was awful for her to have to go to school the next day. Sam also felt very publicly humiliated. She had suspected that Jay was seeing people but she thought he would honour their agreement. Now she is having all sorts of doubts about how he behaved during their marriage.’

The 'friend' characterizes Sam as not having 'a bad bone in her body' but she's so pissed about the Lily thing that she's going to fight for half of the wealth the couple accrued during the eleven years they were together.

Their celebrity friends are also starting to take sides.

Sir Elton John, a long-time friend of Sam's, has apparently made it known that he's not pleased with Jopling's Lily hook up.

Another insider told the media, "Elton’s loyalties lie with Sam. He’s been telling people he thinks it’s disgusting that Jay has been seeing Lily Allen. He has no time for the girl ever since they co-presented the GQ Awards. He’s appalled that Jay has put Sam through this and has vowed never to buy another piece of art from his gallery again."

Lily must love being in the center of this dah-rama!
