The big announcement from DC Comics at New York Comic Con?
A lesbian superhero!!
Batman will be taking a backseat in 2009 and handing the Detective Comics series over to Batwoman, who will mark the publisher's "most high profile title starring a gay superhero."
Batwoman is gay?? We love it!
DC is planning for 12 issues featuring the openly gay superhero starting in June.

The Grammy's effed up big time!
In their annual Memorial Tribute, which pays respect to members of the music industry who have passed away in the previous year, they managed to leave out a 12 time nominee and 1 time winner!!!
LeRoi Moore, founding member and saxophonist for the Dave Matthews Band, was surprisingly absent from the tribute video.
Moore passed away last August due to complications from an ATV accident.
Why the snub National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences?????
Should the Grammy's offer an apology????

As we mentioned back in December, former Full House star Jodie Sweetin and her soon-to-be ex-husband were filing for divorce and full custody of their 10-month-old daughter.
The last time they all met, the judge ordered Sweetin and that deadbeat hubby to take drug tests before the next hearing.
The two did and we're happy to report that Sweetin's attorney has just confirmed that her drug test came in clean.
Jodie's attorney Wilma Presley said, "Her test is good, it's clear."
Oh and that husband of hers also came in clean.
Presley added that Jodie's hubby "voluntarily took a hair follicle test and tested clean."
The unhappy couple arrived at court today for a custody hearing.
Let's hope the best decision is made in the interest of their daughter.
