The odds of nabbing a ticket to Michael Jackson's memorial are now slimmer!

Paper thin, even.

The lottery was originally only open to residents of the States, but the drawing to win two tickets to the memorial at LA's Staples Center on Tuesday is now open to the entire world.

According to the new rules, "additional legal terms have been incorporated into the conditions of entry to allow non-U.S. residents the opportunity to register for the random ticket drawing."

Good luck, universe!

You've got until 6:00 pm PT!

Whoo whoo!

The crazy train is pullin' into the station!

Courtney Love is back at it!

On the heels of reportedly trashing her room at LA's Chateau Marmont last month, Chatty Cathys over at The Inn in NYC tattled on Love and her disgusting living accommodations while staying at the swanky hotel on Irving Place.

According to new reports, the now-skeletor C-Love left the hotel room littered with dirty needles and "used feminine hygiene products" while visiting NYC last month with her daughter, Frances Bean.

"She caused so much damage in eight hours and wreaked so much havoc. It was actually kind of funny… minus the $5,000 in repairs," said one insider.

Was Court too freaked to flush her tampons or something???

Grossness!

Legendary late pitchman Billy Mays' funeral was held in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania on Friday, and pals of Mays paid fitting tribute to their close friend.

The pallbearers at Billy's funeral all donned bright blue OxiClean button-downs while paying their last respects!

Those, of course, are the same shirts most famously worn by Mays himself in his popular infomercials for his top selling multi-purpose cleanser.

Brings a tear to our eye!

And now for your 4th of July safety tip from country pop sensation, Taylor Swift!

Don't pick up hot shiz!

Swift shared an Independence Day childhood memory on her official blog, recalling how her passion for "sparkly things" caused her more harm than fun.

Writes Taylor:

When I was younger, I was always that little kid who would run around picking up used sparklers off the ground and I would inevitably pick up the SCALDING HOT BURNING end that was still smoldering. Then cue the screaming bloody murder in front of everyone and running into the house to ice your hand. All the adults are shaking their heads because they saw you do the same thing last year.

Ouch!

Be safe today, bbs!

The Staples Center must have bulked up their servers big time!

The venue's website was visited over 500 million times within the first hour of opening registration for Michael Jackson's memorial!!!!

Out of those 500 million, only 17,500 fans will be awarded a ticket for the memorial service through a lottery.

Although the Jackson family set up the lottery to cut down on confusion, you just know that shiz will be on Craigslist in a few days for major $$$$$!

Rabbi Says Michael Jackson Was a Good Father

Jul 4, 2009 Author: TheInsider | Filed under: News
Michael Jackson was concerned that his kids grow up with the right values, according to a rabbi. Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, the King of Pop's former friend and spiritual adviser, tells the Associated Press that when he brought his children over to play with Michael's children at Neverland Ranch, when his children ran to play on the rides, Michael reminded his three -- Michael Prince, daughter Paris-Michael and Prince "Blanket" -- that the rides were only for special occasions. Rabbi Boteach, who eventually had a falling out with MJ, goes on to tell the wire service: "To the extent that Michael Jackson's kids COULD have a normal life, he wanted them to have it." Then in reference to Michael's molestation charges, he adds: "Listen, I'm not here to whitewash the sins of Michael Jackson -- he was accused of some abominable things. But when it came to being a father, there was much to admire." Keep checking back here for the latest Michael Jackson news.

Next Tuesday's public memorial service for Michael Jackson will be an event of "extraordinary" scope that could present unique challenges for the city of L.A, officials said on Friday. Read on to find out how to get tickets to the memorial or watch it on TV! Registration for the memorial tickets is taking place at the Staples Center Web site until 6 p.m. today. As of 9 a.m. today, 1,223,978 people had registered for tickets to the Michael Jackson memorial service. Then, on Sunday, 8,750 people will be chosen at random to receive two tickets apiece. On "Larry King Live" on Friday night, Kenny Ortega told listeners that he will be directing the program for the memorial service. He will meet with AEG about the program, but he says his direction will be guided by the family. Also on Friday, L.A. City Councilwoman Jan Perry called the public memorial -- which takes place next Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Staples Center -- a special event "with the potential to impact public safety." She urged fans to consider watching the service on TV, via a world-wide video feed being made available to the networks. Tim Leiweke, the president and CEO of sports/entertainment corporation AEG, said 17,500 free tickets are being released to the legions of fans expected in town. Eleven thousand tickets are for the service at L.A.'s Staples Center, while 6,500 more are for seats at the nearby Nokia Theater, where the event is being simulcast. Leiweke said no tickets are being sold, and there will not be a funeral procession at the service. Keep checking back here for the latest Michael Jackson news.
