It’s been over three years since Veronica Mars has gone off the air and since that time, all Kristen Bell has done is champion for a big screen release.

The problem is, Warner Bros. holds the rights to the franchise and despite the constant pleading and begging from fans Kristen, they still haven’t forged ahead with a movie or relinquished control of the rights.

Yesterday, Kristen decided to channel her inner Gossip Girl and blast the Internet to get some supporters. On her Twitter, she posted:

“Mars fans-can we bug @wbpictures & tell em they must do a VM film?? new tactic. bombard em w/tweets, there’s evidence of fans they cant ignore.

#veronicamars fans send petitions & any obsessive behavior you have to @wbpictures & demand the film. they see no audience for it? i beg to differ.”

It’s so unlike a star to be the one fighting for her TV show to go to the big screen that we really hope she gets it done. Maybe it won’t make a billion dollars, but when will a studio ever get this kind of dedication from an actress to a project again?

Think about that, WB!

Michael Lohan wants to open his own rehab facility in California and he says it’s going to be “faith-based” and his mission in life!

He explains:

“After seeing what my daughter, myself and other people I know have been through, it has led me to realize this is my calling and purpose in life…we are rehab that focuses on mind, body and soul. It is a spiritual retreat…The basis of the rehab will be that there is a God; that good conquers evil; that the best way to live is to treat others like you want to be treated; and treat your body like a temple.

I’m not going to close my doors on anyone. We may offer a scholarship [to those in need]. You don’t have to be Lindsay Lohan or Nicole Richie or Robert Downey Jr. or a celebrity to get rehab….all I want to [do] is open this place and see my family, Dina and my children are in a good place. When that day comes, I am done, I am finished. All of the things that have happened to me in my life have led to this. I know this is what God wants me to do first and foremost.“

We have a feeling VIPs and the general public aren’t going to be interested in what you have to offer, Michael — especially with Lindsay Lohan as your daughter!

After an injury during her August 28 performance, Jordin Sparks is back.

Sparks has made a quick recovery from a hip injury that she suffered during the first act of a performance of In The Heights on the 28th, and she’ll be returning to the stage today. Her run on the show will go until November 14th.

The American Idol winner stars as Nina Rosario in the 2008 Tony/Grammy Award winning Best Musical.
