What else is new?

Rapper DMX was arrested after allegedly violating his probation by using illegal drugs. His lawyer is now trying to get Dr. Drew’s attention saying of his client:

“He’s been battling addiction for some time and he’s in need of treatment. We’re hoping that maybe Dr. Drew might be able to help him. He’s a talented man…We’re praying for him.”

DMX was in jail just last year for charges of drug possession, animal cruelty and theft. He was released in May 2009 and sentenced to 18 months probation for threatening a guard while in the slammer.

You know Dr. Drew will respond — he’s getting to be a pretty big famewhore himself these days!
