Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino of MTV’s hit show, “Jersey Shore” has signed on as Access Hollywood’s guest correspondent covering the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards.

At the Miami Airport, “Jersey Shore” star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino gloats that he’s the “king of reality” TV, but what was he doing just a year ago? Plus, he reveals the news that he’ll be at the Grammys — as an Access correspondent! - INF Video.

Pink was asked to weigh in with her thoughts on who should be awarded the Grammy for Album of the Year, and she made our hearts fill with happiness when she cried GaGa!

Pink says:

“I think I’d have to go with Lady Gaga because she really, really just took over this year. She was everywhere. She’s fearless when it comes to fashion and videos and I think a lot of other people play it really safe. I think she’s been a total breath of fresh air. I love her videos. In some ways I think she’s the most interesting without seeming to try to hard since Madonna. I think I’m able to like her because I don’t see any of myself in her. And for awhile, I think, after Missundaztood came out, it was like, “Oh, everybody wants to be a rock star now.” But with her, I don’t know, I think she’s marching to the beat of her own drum. And I really, really like that.”

Well said, Pink! We agree on all counts!!

Florida resident Cynthia Ware has been charged with attempted murder after she went psycho on her boyfriend for changing the channel from American Idol to something else!

She stabbed him with a 10-inch butcher knife and poured hot chocolate on the poor guy! Luckily he’s going to be okay.

Crazy!

This morning, Bill Gates and his wife, Melinda, announced that they are investing $10 billion into a 10-year program that will focus on providing vaccines for AIDS, tuberculosis, rota virus and pneumonia to countries around the world!

Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland, the power couple, who have devoted most of their time to their philanthropic foundation, both Bill and Melinda said that the potential impact of providing these vaccines early enough to people, especially children, who need them, will decrease the amount of deaths in the next decade dramatically. Melinda Gates explained to the forum:

“Vaccines are a miracle. With just a few doses, they can prevent deadly diseases for a lifetime. We’ve made vaccines our priority at the Gates Foundation because we’ve seen firsthand their incredible impact on children’s lives. By significantly scaling up the delivery of life-saving vaccines in developing countries to 90 percent coverage — including new vaccines to prevent severe diarrhea and pneumonia — the model suggests that we could prevent the deaths of some 7.6 million children under 5 from 2010-2019.”

Amazing! This is surely a cause to get behind!

The D.A.’s office has met and are planning on filing a criminal case against Dr. Conrad Murray, the quack who supplied Michael Jackson with an entire pharmacy’s worth of painkillers in one sitting.

The LAPD is yet to present the case to the Deputy District Attorney David Walgreen, but the lawyer has been working closely with detectives and is extremely familiar of the investigation and has already briefed everyone in the D.A.’s office.

Sounds like everyone is doing everything they can to make sure this douche doesn’t walk! Good RIDDANCE!
