With less than a week before the toxicology reports are released regarding the cause of Brittany Murphy’s tragic death, more sources are coming forward with negative words against the actress’s husband, Simon Monjack.

After Monjack accused Warner Brothers causing Brittany’s heart attack, a studio representative released this statement,

“Any claim that Warner Bros. Pictures was somehow responsible for Brittany Murphy’s tragic death is demonstrably false, reprehensible and defamatory.”

“Despite press reports to the contrary, Warner Bros. Pictures and Ms. Murphy never entered into any deal for Happy Feet 2, and thus, there was no contract to cancel.”

Now sources are claiming that Monjack is attempting to “cozy” up to Murphy’s friends.

“He’s trying to get in good with anyone who was close to Brittany. It’s just so obvious why he’s making all this effort. Let’s just say he wasn’t left with much. He’s trying to get his hands on what he can.”

Murphy left all of her money to her mother, Sharon, who thus far has fully supported Monjack’s intentions. The sources suggest that Mama Murphy is being manipulated by Monjack to direct her grief, and the need to blame someone, for her daughter’s death onto Hollywood.

At this point it’s just become a clusterfuck of finger pointing, and all we can pray is that Brittany is somewhere at peace. Perhaps the toxicology reports will provide some clarification.
