Ashley Tisdale accepted the first award of the evening for her Breakthrough Female Performance in 'High School Musical 3: Senior Year.' The late
Heath Ledger was recognized on the red carpet for winning the award for Best Villain for his role in 'Dark Knight.'
Shia LaBeouf presented the award for Best Fight to 'Twilight' studs
Robert Pattinson and
Cam Gigandet. Pattinson thanked his stunt double for the fight scene. Eminem then took the stage to perform, followed by
Jonah Hill and
Vanessa Hudgens presenting the award for Breakthrough Male Performance to Pattinson. Brüno, a.k.a.
Sacha Baron Cohen, caused a bit of a fuss when he flew into
Eminem who then
stormed out of the show.
Zac Efron then accepted the award for Best Male Performance for his work in 'High School Musical 3: Senior Year.' 'The Proposal' actors

Sandra Bullock presented best kiss.
Kristen Stewart and Pattinson took home the award, making it the third popcorn prize issued to the vampire hunk. The costars pretended to almost kiss which ended in Stewart saying, "Thank you so much." Later in the show, Pattinson and Stewart joined their costar
Taylor Lautner to present a special sneak preview of the 'Twilight' sequel, 'New Moon.' Stewart would later win the award for Best Female Performance and have a bit of a trip-up on stage. "I'm just as awkward as you thought I'd be," she joked. Following the kissing award, actor
Jim Carrey stood up in the audience and requested Samberg to perform some of his digital shorts from "SNL."

Denzel Washington ended out the night presenting Best Movie with his daughter
Olivia. 'Twilight' took home the award, making it their fifth popcorn prize of the evening.
