It's so nice to know that despite the discomfort and fatigue of mercury poisoning, which forced him to "tear himself away" from his work, Jeremy Piven could still find the strength within himself to pick up a model in New York.

The Pivert was on the prowl at Britney's circus-themed birthday bash and his latest victim is model-turned-waitress Ashley Chontos.

He's so smitten with the 23-year-old (who was actually only his second choice that night, but hey, Piverts can't be choosy), that he's going to ditch his mama for the Golden Globes and fly Ashley out to the West Coast to accompany him on the red carpet January 10th

He charmed Chontos with a mass text message to all the numbers he had gathered up that night that read, "Come to my room - whoever responds first gets me for the night."

Wow, that makes them both desperate. And gross.

They're perfect for each other!

After pulling out of Speed the Plow (To the relief of co-stars), the Pivert went to Bangkok, where he is receiving "treatment" for his "poisoning." Chontos, meanwhile, is in Miami, working on her tan for her red carpet debut.

If it even lasts that long.

Trouble just seems to follow former child star Gary Coleman whereever he goes.

In 2005, he settled in small town Utah for privacy and peace to no avail.

According to a new report, police officers have been called to assist or intervene with Coleman 21 times since he moved to Utah.

Drama queen!!!!

One of the more serious 'calls' took place in July 2007, where Coleman told the cops he had taken dozens of Oxycontin pills, was suicidal and "wanted to die."

Poor little guy. He's crying out for attention!

The corresponding police report states, "Gary … was upset that his girlfriend was breaking up with him. He calmed down and was cooperative and acknowledged he took approx(imately) 30-40 Oxycontin pills. He said he is suicidal and 'wanted to die'."

Coleman went on to marry the referenced girlfriend but it looks like the relationship problems carried on.

In April of this year, the cops paid a visit to a distraught Coleman who was threatening to harm himself because of marital problems.

We hope 2009 gets a lot better for the guy!

Is Princess RiRi now Diva RiRi?

According to EW, if we're going by Beyonce's definition of a diva as a "female version of a hustler" then RiRi's definitely a diva!

That girl's been hustling hard since her first appearance on the scene, with each of her albums yielding a Number 1 single. But her latest and most explosive album, Good Girl Gone Bad, has wrecked the charts with 8 hit singles which includes the ubiquitous Umbrella, and is her third record in 2 years!

In addition to hit singles, girlfriend's re-released Good Girl with bonus tracks, and has an upcoming CD of remixes for 2009. She also toured with Kanye's Glow in the Dark, has designed for H&M, scored a hot boyfriend, and worked with other artists (T.I., for example, and a rumored Kanye project).

She's currently tied with Beyonce for the most number one songs within a decade for a female solo artist.

Beyonce better start hustling!
