The VMA buzz is once again all about Britney Spears. ET broke the news that she would be back at this year's awards -- to open the show. What lies ahead tonight? We've got the lowdown! Expect to see a lot of Britney, because "Piece of Me" is up for three noms, best pop video, best female video -- and the show's top honor -- video of the year. Although she's been nominated multiple times (16) she has never picked up a trophy. Will this be her big night? Look for other acts to shine, like the Jonas Brothers -- also up for vid of the year -- who will perform onstage. Tonight's other big acts include Rihanna, Pink, Katy Perry, Kid Rock and Kanye West! Of course everyone is also talking about what British comedian Russell Brand will bring as the show's host. He'll get a little help from Pete Wentz, who co-host while his wife Ashlee Simpson will join the onstage antics to present. Other presenters will include Miley Cyrus and Lindsay Lohan, Christina Aguilera and Chace Crawford.
