Court commissioner SCOTT GORDON ruled today that BRITNEY SPEARS must pay $375,000 to cover ex-husband KEVIN FEDERLINE's attorney's fees. Kevin's attorney, MARK VINCENT KAPLAN, originally requested $500,000.

Britney's lawyer STACY PHILLIPS argued that Kaplan was overbilling, but Gordon decided that the pop star's actions were what caused much of the litigation. Read the court papers here.

California Highway Patrol tells ET that 'The Mist' star THOMAS JANE was arrested this morning at 2:43 am for suspicion of DUI. He was initially stopped for speeding while driving south-bound on I-5. The actor was booked at the Kern County Jail and then released, according to authorities.

ELTON JOHN is showing his support for presidential hopeful HILLARY CLINTON by holding a fundraising concert on April 9 at New York City's Radio City Music Hall.

"I'm not a politician but I believe in the work that Hillary Clinton does," he said. "I'm excited to support Hillary by performing at what will be a truly memorable night."

The event, called "Elton and Hillary: One Night Only," will be Elton's first solo concert since October of 2000.

The HILTON clan was out in force this weekend as PARIS and NICKY celebrated mom KATHY's birthday at L.A. eatery Orso Saturday afternoon. Later, the sisters attended an event in support of Paris beau BENJI MADDEN's DCMA clothing collection.

Former president BILL CLINTON and Hollywood heavyweight BRAD PITT came together on Sunday in New Orleans to break ground on the site where dozens of affordable homes will be built through Pitt's Make It Right foundation.

"We hope to see a huge change here in the next six months," Pitt said.

The powerful pair was joined by hundreds of volunteers who were there to clear overgrown grass and weeds from the streets to make way for the homes, being built in the Lower 9th Ward, an area hard hit by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

"The company has such an incredible creative legacy," Eva said. "I'm honored to be associated with such an iconic, world-class brand like Calvin Klein Underwear."

The actress will also be featured in a new Calvin Klein fragrance campaign that is also set to launch this fall. Further details on that campaign have not been released.

A judge ruled today that ex Beatle PAUL McCARTNEY must pay his estranged wife HEATHER MILLS a whopping $48.6 million in the financial settlement of their divorce, according to the Associated Press.

The document, made public shortly after the two left court today, states that Mills was awarded a lump sum of $33 million, plus her current assets, worth 15.6 million.

McCartney, 65 and Mills, 40, were married in 2002 and separated in 2006 and they have one daughter, BEATRICE.
