It's official! TV veteran KATHIE LEE GIFFORD is heading back to the tube as a regular on the "Today" show. Co-host MATT LAUER made the big announcement during this morning's broadcast. The former "Live!" co-host will make her debut on Monday, April 7 during the show's 10 a.m. hour.

Gifford, 54, left "Live!" in 2000 after co-hosting the popular morning talker alongside REGIS PHILBIN for 15 years.
